PQP

Dear Heather Brewer,
Praise:
Personally I think, the book “The Chronicles of Vladimir Tod: Eighth Grade Bites” is a very exciting and comprehensive book. My favorite part in your book, was when Vlad asked Meredith to the dance at the end because he always crushed on her secretly, but it turned out that she also liked him! I also thought it was kind of ironic every time Otis turned out to be trying to kill him, then he switches and becomes Vlad’s uncle. That happened many times in the book, for example, at first, Vlad thought Otis was a bad vampire and tried to extinguish him, but then Otis turned out to be Vlad’s dads brother. Then during their “Nelly rescue mission”, he betrayed Vlad and pretended to kill Nelly, but then suddenly switching back to Vlad’s uncle. In my opinion, I think that for most “normal” readers, they would probably fall for that just one time. But I fell for it every time it happened. Which is kind of sad… but I still really enjoyed reading every part of your book.
Questions:
Some questions I had while I was reading the book was: “How did Vlad’s parents die if D’Ablo didn’t kill them?” since after reading book, Vlad still doesn’t find out who murdered them. I also wondered what Vlad is going to encounter in the next 4 books of the series, since at the end, you said that Otis informed everybody that Vlad shouldn’t be punished for his father’s crimes and that he now holds the “Lucis” a fearful weapon feared by all vampire. But otherwise, the book made sense and everything was like a puzzle which slowly formed together.
Polish:
I think your book was very well written, there was not a lot of things that should change. But maybe next time you should probably make the book longer or add more exciting events because it seemed that everything past so fast and ended before I even had the time to enjoy it. I would also appreciate it if you made the events and other exciting parts a bit longer and exciting. But other than that, the book was very descriptive and created many imagery, and was very well written.

Proud Piece

I chose my “Secret Truth Project” as my proud piece because it was my favorite project in ELA so far and at first I thought that I didn’t do really good, but when the marks came out, it turned out that I got 100% for that project!!! The following includes the “Secret Truth Project”:
