PQP

Dear Heather Brewer,
Praise:
Personally I think, the book “The Chronicles of Vladimir Tod: Eighth Grade Bites” is a very exciting and comprehensive book. My favorite part in your book, was when Vlad asked Meredith to the dance at the end because he always crushed on her secretly, but it turned out that she also liked him! I also thought it was kind of ironic every time Otis turned out to be trying to kill him, then he switches and becomes Vlad’s uncle. That happened many times in the book, for example, at first, Vlad thought Otis was a bad vampire and tried to extinguish him, but then Otis turned out to be Vlad’s dads brother. Then during their “Nelly rescue mission”, he betrayed Vlad and pretended to kill Nelly, but then suddenly switching back to Vlad’s uncle. In my opinion, I think that for most “normal” readers, they would probably fall for that just one time. But I fell for it every time it happened. Which is kind of sad… but I still really enjoyed reading every part of your book.
Questions:
Some questions I had while I was reading the book was: “How did Vlad’s parents die if D’Ablo didn’t kill them?” since after reading book, Vlad still doesn’t find out who murdered them. I also wondered what Vlad is going to encounter in the next 4 books of the series, since at the end, you said that Otis informed everybody that Vlad shouldn’t be punished for his father’s crimes and that he now holds the “Lucis” a fearful weapon feared by all vampire. But otherwise, the book made sense and everything was like a puzzle which slowly formed together.
Polish:
I think your book was very well written, there was not a lot of things that should change. But maybe next time you should probably make the book longer or add more exciting events because it seemed that everything past so fast and ended before I even had the time to enjoy it. I would also appreciate it if you made the events and other exciting parts a bit longer and exciting. But other than that, the book was very descriptive and created many imagery, and was very well written.

All 'Bout Me

I woke up screaming, although not because I woke up from a nightmare, but it was because...SUMMER WAS OVER!!!!!!! The happiness and joy being replaced with the boredom and tortures of school … JUST KIDDING!!!

My name is Men**** Q*, I’m 1* and I go to Aca*** Junior High! I don’t have any siblings but I do really want a dog. I like to joke around, and during spare time, I usually like watching television, playing video games, surfing the internet, listening to music and sleeping. I also enjoy playing sports such as basketball, badminton and tennis.

Some of my favorite music genres include pop, R&B, rock and more. Even though I like rock, I HATE heavy metal and screamo! Seriously! Who likes screamo, other than You** Bil**, Da***, Fr*** and some other people. Or…maybe I’m the only one who doesn’t like it. Talking about music, I also play music on piano, guitar and the clarinet (in band). So, as you can see, I’m very musical. Now the boring part of music is the written part (as always) which is called theory. Right now, I’m in Gr. 3 theory which is called Harmony 3.

Although music isn’t the only thing I like, although I may not look like it, but I actually really like playing video games. When I’m not playing games, I’m on the computer either watching anime or reading manga. I also enjoy drawing manga such as Naruto, Bleach or Vampire Knight, which leads to my writing. Since I like to draw, that probably improved my pencil handling, so I write really neat. Some people call me “neat freak”, especially You**, but even though I don’t mind, I personally like his writing better.

Another thing that people always call me is “shorty/midget” and it’s mostly because…I’m shorter than lots of people. But that doesn’t mean I eat less than everyone else…well, maybe it does, but that’s not the point. Even though I don’t eat much, I still have some favorite foods like popcorn, chips, chicken, roast chicken, barbeque chicken, fried chicken, chicken nuggets, chicken wings, chicken fingers, chicken legs, chicken breasts, popcorn chicken… so, as you can see…I LUUUUUUVV CHICKEN! Well at least over the other foods.
If you ask me to a picnic, my reply would be: “will there be chicken?” If the answer’s yes, then I’ll definitely go, if not, then…I’ll think it about it! -_-

YAY!
